"TJ is fantastic. This was my first visit to the salon and I had booked a color service and cut. TJ did a thorough consult. He asked me questions to get to know how I felt about my hair and then explained the reasons behind what I thought I didn’t like about it. He ended up convincing me to leave my natural color alone (natural gray). He could have made more money by giving me what I asked for and was willing to proceed, but once he gave me his thoughts and suggestions, I decided to hold off. He made me feel really good about my hair. At a different salon a few years ago, I had also booked a color consult, but when I decided against getting the color the stylist guilted me into proceeding because ‘I had booked her time and she would lose money because she couldn’t recover the time slot’. TJ had no such attitude. When I told him I felt bad about that, he said it was more important to have a happy client. He made me feel so at ease and just gave me a great cut. He’s not only talented, he is genuinely kind and I think he has a good spirit. TJ now has a loyal customer in me as long as I live in Norfolk."
