Linda- Owner and Cosmetologist
Linda began her career in 1984, stepping into the beauty industry with a passion that felt bigger than she could put into words. Fresh out of cosmetology school, she poured her heart into her very first independent salon in Osmond, Nebraska. It was more than a business — it was the beginning of a lifelong calling. Every haircut, every conversation, every client who sat in her chair confirmed that she was exactly where she was meant to be. Those early years shaped her confidence, her creativity, and her belief that a salon could be a place of comfort, connection, and transformation.
She loved owning her own salon, but a few years later she met her future husband and moved to Norfolk, Nebraska. After working for many years in a local salon, her dream of owning her own business again became a reality. In 2002 she rented a suite and designed and built Visible Changes Salon. In 2011 with the purchase her own building Linda poured her heart into every detail. She envisioned a salon where people felt instantly comfortable the moment they walked in… a natural and peaceful atmosphere, and an environment that wrapped clients in calm. Renovations began inside and out, establishing the permanent home of Visible Changes Salon & Spa.
One of Linda’s greatest joys is growing her own flowers and planting them along the roadway by the salon for the community to enjoy. Each January, the seed‑starting process begins, filling her home with tiny pots of hope that will soon become bursts of color. By spring, those flowers line the street — greeting clients, brightening commutes, and offering a moment of beauty to anyone passing by. For Linda, it’s a simple but meaningful way to give back. Watching people slow down, smile, or take in the colors reminds her why she plants them year after year. The blooming cycles mirror life itself — we never stop growing, and we continue reaching upward.
That belief in growth, visibility, and transformation is at the heart of Visible Changes. With decades of experience, Linda still loves every aspect of her career — from haircuts and color to facials, waxing, manicures, and pedicures. The friendships she has built with clients over the years are among the greatest gifts of her journey, and she is grateful for every person who has trusted her with their beauty and their stories.
Like her flowers, Linda will always continue to bloom — learning, evolving, and reaching for the sun. She is deeply thankful for the wonderful clients who have supported her through every season, each one adding joy, purpose, and meaning to her work. Their trust has shaped her career and filled her days with connection and gratitude. She is equally grateful for her amazing team, whose talent, kindness, and dedication help bring her vision to life.
